Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, Denise has been working in sales since the age of 12. Her experience has led her into many aspects of the business. Getting her real estate broker’s license is one of many career certificates that Denise has acquired.
A born problem solver, Denise enjoys helping people with life’s challenges. With the economic conditions in the last decade that faced upside-down homeowners, short sale transactions became Denise’s specialty. She decided to expand her knowledge and efforts during this time and trained in HAFA (Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternative) programs. In addition, she trained and became certified as an REO listing agent (Real Estate Owned by the Bank). Together with her husband and business partner, James Orrico, they helped thousands of homeowners navigate the HAFA process and are now listing bank owned properties as a direct result of their vast knowledge and experience.
“I enjoy working with people and nothing makes this job more rewarding than helping homeowners sell, buy, or save their home!” If she’s working with an Asset Manager that’s trying to sell their REO property, Denise is continually focused on what needs to be done to get the property sold. She is an avid believer that networking with fellow realtors and staying active in her community benefits both her business and her clients. Bringing buyers and sellers together and possessing good negotiating skills with the bank are the main objectives to making a transaction work.
Past clients have expressed their gratitude with referrals of other clients. A longtime customer confides, “I can always feel comfortable referring friends and acquaintances to Denise, knowing she’ll be diligent.” Denise graduated top of her class in both education and real estate school. She credits her success in life and her career to good work ethics, support from her family, and Faith in God.
Denise has 3 sons, and lives in Oak Brook, Illinois with her husband, Jim.
